Making a difference in our community!
GIVE makes a significant difference in our community by prioritizing the well-being of its citizens. Our commitment is demonstrated through our dedicated volunteering efforts and meaningful social interactions with the most vulnerable members of our community. By offering our time, resources, and compassion, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and cared for. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging and to ensure that no one is left behind.
Thank you to our Summer in the Park G.I.V.E. volunteers and sponsors!
Our monthly G.I.V.E. Senior Citizens Luncheons would not be possible without the unwavering dedication and hard work of our wonderful G.I.V.E. volunteers, who consistently go above and beyond to support our efforts!
The investment that the Sponsors of the Month have made in our initiatives demonstrates their strong commitment to supporting our goals and vision. Their contributions not only help fund essential projects but also inspire others to become involved and contribute towards our collective success.
Congratulations to our 2026 Volunteer of the Year!
Janie Ortiz was a participant and would attend the GIVE Sr. Citizens luncheons. She would always bring a little something to everyone present. She started helping by serving food to attendees, and before she knew it, she was the main person decorating the venue for the monthly luncheons. GIVE is honored and privileged to have such a giving and talented person like Janie by our side. As a GIVE volunteer, she has brought so much joy to the participants, both young and older. She is a pleasure to work with and a great example of a true leader. Her expertise in several projects has come just in time. We are blessed to have her in our circle of service.
“G.I.V.E. is a truly service-oriented organization that provides connection and support throughout the Gregory community. Whether it is organizing summer activities for the children, the monthly community lunches, book drives and donations, the annual Patriotic Parade, and so much more, the kindness and compassion of G.I.V.E. shines through.”
-Dr. Michelle Cavazos, G-PISD Superintendent
